Availability is updated every Monday. If somebody is showing a waiting list we will say so, rather than book you in and move you later.
First-time passes, our own learners, over the last twelve months. Not a lifetime figure and not rounded up.
We would rather show you the figure than ask you to take it on trust.
Same hourly price whichever you pick. The difference is how the hours are arranged, not what they cost.
Never driven before, or a handful of goes in a car park. We start where you actually are.
WeeklyA test pass compressed into one to three weeks. Not for everyone, and we will say so.
1–3 weeksPassed years ago and lost your nerve, or moved here from abroad.
As neededAfter the test: motorways, night driving and dual carriageways.
6 hoursBooked alongside lessons or on their own.
No clutch, no stalling. Increasingly the sensible choice.
A full test on the real routes, marked like the real thing.
Hazard perception and the multiple choice, if you keep failing it.
For people the standard approach has already failed once.
Three answers and you will see a realistic range of hours, what that costs at our published rate, and roughly when you would be ready for the test.
The DVSA average is about 45 hours with an instructor
At £38 an hour, or £36 in blocks of ten
At two hours a week, starting now
Book your theory test early: it gates the practical, and leaving it late is the most common reason a test-ready learner cannot book. Private practice between lessons brings the hours down.
A two-minute call. We work out roughly how many hours you are looking at and which instructor suits how you learn.
You are matched to a person, not a rota. If it is not working after two lessons we move you, no argument and no charge.
We book it when the mock test says you will pass, not when the calendar says you have done twenty hours.

Four things we turn down, and the reason for each.
Failed twice with another school and nobody could tell me why. Clearway spent the first lesson just finding out, and I passed in eight more.
They told me not to book the test when I wanted to. Annoying at the time, obviously right afterwards.
Forty-three and terrified of it. Never once felt rushed or made to feel stupid, which is more than I expected.
Which test centre you use matters more than most learners realise. Waiting times differ, and so do the routes.
Tell us whether you have driven before and how often you can get out. We come back with a realistic number of hours, what it costs and who has slots.
