Most people want to know three things before they book anything: what it costs, how long it takes and whether anybody has slots. All three are answerable in about two minutes.
Four things and we will come back with a straight answer.
Same day in term time, usually sooner.
None of it is essential, but having it to hand turns a five-minute call into a two-minute one and gets you a firmer answer.

A surprising number of people put off learning to drive for years and then find the phone call the hardest part of it. If that is you, send the form instead and say so in a sentence.
It changes nothing about what we charge and quite a lot about how the first lesson is arranged. Nobody will make anything of it, and you are in considerably more company than you think.
Booking for somebody else? Parents ring on behalf of teenagers all the time and that is fine. We will still want two minutes with the learner before the first lesson, because their questions are different from yours.
Lessons are paid individually or in blocks of ten. There is no joining fee, no contract and no minimum commitment beyond the lesson you have booked.
If you move away, stop, or decide this is not for you, unused block hours are refunded. We would rather do that than hold money against lessons somebody has stopped wanting.

Anything not answered here? Ring it — you will get an instructor rather than an office.

Yes. There is no booking team — the person who answers is the person who will be teaching you, or who teaches alongside them.
We will tell you how long the wait actually is and what the alternatives look like. A month with the right person often beats starting next week with the wrong one.
That is most of what these calls are. Nobody is put on a list for ringing up and asking how it works.
If you are inside the six areas listed we almost certainly do. Outside them, ring and ask — we go a little further than the map suggests, especially for the first lesson.
Either is fine, but we will want to speak to them before the first lesson. It is their nerves and their questions that shape how we start.
Tell us whether you have driven before and how often you can get out. We come back with a realistic number of hours, what it costs and who has slots.
